About Ingwenya View
Ingwenya View is a cosy double-storey holiday house situated in the popular Marloth Park Conservancy. The house which can sleep up to a maximum of eight people has four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds. The two bathrooms have showers only. Bed linen and towels are not normally provided but if this is a major problem, we can try to arrange bed linen at a small extra cost.
The lounge has a DVD player, a TV and a Multichoice DStv decoder; guests need to bring along their own DStv smart card for activation. The house has a dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen has a large fridge-freezer and a microwave oven. There are wall fans installed throughout the house. The house has an electrical feed but the stove and water heating are fed from a gas supply. It is serviced weekly and has an alarm system linked to the Field Security armed response. Braai facilities are provided and there is a large upstairs lookout decking over a double car port. The latest addition is a large and deep splash pool which is installed adjacent to the house.
At Ingwenya View we have sightings of the Big 5 from our upstairs decking with our resident hippos and crocodiles abundant in the Crocodile River. Frequent visitors to the house are zebra, kudu, impala, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, bushbuck, mongoose, genet and bush babies, not to mention the prolific birdlife which boasts over 300 of South Africa's finest species.
Children are more than welcome at Ingwenya View and should be encouraged to join you as viewing the passing animals is a memorable experience in itself. The world famous Kruger National Park is on our doorstep and there are great views across the Crocodile River into the Kruger from the upstairs decking. The Kruger Park's Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates are approximately 25 km from Marloth Park which allows guests to spend the day in this mesmerising park while still being able to return and light the braai, take a dip in the pool and listen to the magical sounds of the African night which often includes the call of lion both within the Kruger Park and in Marloth's very own private reserve, Lionspruit.
Ingwenya View guarantees to give you the true experience of the African bushveld while enjoying and having a truly relaxing break away from the stresses of modern day life.
